The passenger compartment also has more rounded shapes, with a generally good quality and a distribution of space that favors front seat passengers and luggage (from 231 to 829 liters), but instead forces the rear passengers to make some sacrifices.

The instrumentation is mixed analog-digital and the infotelematic system can have a 7, 8 or 9-inch screen for the most advanced variant that has cloud navigation, over-the-air updates, the ability to interact remotely. with the app and finally Android Auto, Carplay and charging, all wireless. You can also have a 300 Watt audio system.

The driving attitude is sporty, even if the small diameter steering wheel of the Yaris is adjustable only in height, instead it improves visibility thanks to the thinner and rearmost pillars and the low waistline. The electrically operated canvas roof (€ 1,000) adds light and pleasure. For safety there are the strength of a body derived from the Ga-B platform (the same as the Yaris and Yaris Cross), 6 airbags and a package of assistance devices never seen before in this segment. It would have been better that on a city car like this adaptive cruise control could have been activated even below 30 km / h. Under the hood there is the now legendary 3-cylinder mille equipped only with stop & start that declares emissions and consumption (4.7 liters / 100 km equal to 107 g / km) equal to those of the mild-hybrid competitors. You can have a good manual gearbox or a CVT automatic, i.e. continuously variable (1,000 euros) which offers a good starting point and matches the mild nature of the Aygo X which, on the other hand, offers a good feeling of mastery of the road.

The price list includes 3 configurations (Active, Trend and Lounge), to which is added the Limited for the launch phase, and starts from 16,500 euros, to be discounted by 3 thousand euros in case of exchange or scrapping which become 3,500 in case of financing. The pay per use insurance formula based on the actual distance is interesting: it costs 3 cents (4 cents with Collision coverage) with a monthly minimum of 25 euros and a maximum of 75, regardless of the class of merit and the municipality of residence.
