Anyone who has allowed schools to deteriorate for decades and saved on public infrastructure, rail and local transport despite rising tax revenues should not be surprised that people have the feeling that everything is getting worse and that it is the fault of the established parties. If municipalities have too little money, too few staff and hardly any free apartments for refugees, the federal government is also partly to blame – there is little the municipalities can do about it. And whatever you think of the now much praised payment card for refugees, it will neither provide jobs, teach German nor simplify processes – instead it will only increase the amount of bureaucracy even further.
Both of them make things too easy for themselves with their criticism of the AfD
