With this elimination, Sabbag will join the Alianza Lima squad to face League 1 and the Copa Libertadores. The forward joined the Syrian national team when the blue and white club was carrying out the last stage of its preseason.
Sabbag may be taken into account by coach Alejandro Restrepo for the next matches in Liga 1 of Alianza Lima against Alianza Atlético de Sullana (visiting) and against Universitario de Deportes (local). The classic will be played on February 10 at the National Stadium due to the sanction to the Matute sports venue.
