Celtex industries among the 100 most sustainable companies in Italy

New prestigious recognition for Industrie Celtex which enters the ranking of the 100 best Italian companies in the field of environmental sustainability. On December 20, it was awarded an important honor: the Sustainability Award.

Sustainability Award, promoted by Credit Suisse and Kon Group, is a recognition that gives credit to companies that have made sustainable development an integral part of their corporate DNA.

Following an initial selection of 200 companies, identified through strict criteria for assessing the ESG rating, issued by Altis and the Catholic University of Milan, 100 of the best performing in Italy were then chosen.

The entire executive board of Industrie Celtex was present at the event and in particular the three majority shareholders: Andrea Bernacchi (Chairman and CEO), Alessandro Carrara and Claudio Giacometti. An entrepreneurial group capable of giving life to virtuous production processes, in line with the new concepts of environmental sustainability and which well illustrates the talent of the paper and Tuscan sectors in general.

“Sustainability has always been an Industrie Celtex goal, even before this topic became the subject of study and development. Thanks to the important investments made over the years, such as the installation of cogeneration turbines on our production plants, we have reduced CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 80% “, declared the president Andrea Bernacchi, who together with the two partners projects Industrie Celtex towards new and important goals.
