The start of the new Munich Auto Show is approaching, from 7 to 12 September 2021, including, among other novelties, a “Blue Lane” for testing the new eco-sustainable vehicles. On the occasion of the historic Salone, which moves from the Frankfurt headquarters to Munich, Euler Hermes (Allianz Group) analyzed the most relevant economic aspects of the sector and hypothesized scenarios as early as next year.
Euler Hermes concludes that, in the first half of next year, car prices could increase from +3 to + 6% (+ 4% in Germany, + 2.4% and + 5.8% respectively for Spain and Italy and a value ranging between + 0.8% and + 5.0% for France). An alarming prospect for consumers, even if not definitive and still subject to various variables – such as the prolongation of the Pandemic, the return to the availability of raw materials and the real ability of producers to determine the price.
