Compagnia dei Caribbean has signed a binding agreement aimed at acquiring a 75% stake in the share capital of Right Beer, a primary distributor of Italian craft beer based in Piedmont, in the first phase. The remaining part of Right Beer’s share capital can be acquired in a second phase through specific put and call mechanisms.
The operation allows the Group led by Edelberto Baracco to expand the catalog with over 500 beer references from 17 Italian artisan producers. The entry of Compagnia dei Caribbean into the share capital of Right Beer will lead to the development of a two-level strategy for the benefit of both companies: on the one hand, Right Beer will have the opportunity to extend its distribution range to the whole national territory so far. linked to Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, while Compagnia dei Caribbean will find an expert partner for the dissemination of the beer culture and the quality of Italian craft beer and, in the Right Beer headquarters in the former Turin wool mill, a strategic unit for the development of the proximity service aimed at the Ho.Re.Ca world and the modern Publican.
