Eni, Gazprom announces a 15% reduction in flows to Italy

MILANO – “Eni has received communication of a limited reduction in flows from its Russian supplier in relation to the gas supply to Italy. Eni will continue to monitor the evolution of the situation and will communicate any updates”. It can be read on the Platform of privileged information (pip) for the Remit monitoring of the Energy Markets Manager.

An Eni spokesperson, consulted byAnsa, “confirms that Gazprom has communicated a limited reduction in gas supplies for the day today, equal to approximately 15%. The reasons for the decrease have not been notified at the moment.” The breaking latest news is told that the Six-legged Dog “is constantly monitoring the situation.”

Only yesterday, Gazprom announced a 40% reduction in flows to Germany via Nord Stream, complaining about the lack of supplies from Siemens of material for the compressors.

The news of Eni comes as the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, welcomes the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on gas signed in Cairo with Egypt and Israel is a “historic agreement”. The underlining was made by speaking in Cairo during the signing ceremony, as shown in a video on Youtube. Among other things, Von der Leyen stressed that “we are building an infrastructure” which must also be ready for the “transport of tomorrow’s clean energy”, namely hydrogen.
