The keywords are always the same: digital and sustainability. The venue is the Dubai Expo, which for a month has been one of the main international hubs for establishing relationships and contacts in the post-pandemic world. The Assolombarda Youth Group has chosen the UAE Universal Exposition to lead a mission of young entrepreneurs in search of new opportunities.
The mission was one of the most participated so far at the Dubai Expo and involved more than 240 Italian entrepreneurs, thanks to the collaboration between the Youth Group of Assolombarda and the Young Entrepreneurs Groups of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna, Confindustria Como, Confindustria Macerata, Naples and Ance Giovani. The objective of the mission is to create greater synergies between Italian SMEs and local businesses, with particular attention to sustainability, innovation and the opportunities of the NRP, to foster the birth of an ecosystem in which to establish new relationships, undertake new business activities and generate new development opportunities for the respective territories.
“We wanted to be present at Expo Dubai to better understand how digital transformation and sustainability represent opportunities not to be missed not only for SMEs, but for the entire community – said Paul Renda, president of the Assolombarda Young Entrepreneurs Group. -. The United Arab Emirates in recent years have experienced a moment of great growth, with a vision and an ability to imagine a future where sustainability and innovation coexist. For our companies, being here means exchanging know-how, making relationships and looking to the future ».
The program, which began on October 30, also included a meeting with the Ambassador and Consul of Italy to the United Arab Emirates and with the director of the Government Ice Agency in Dubai, as well as visits to the Dubai Future Foundation and Dubai Sustainable City.
