Ford Pro Vehicles: vehicles created to satisfy every type of customer in any type of business
Connected vehicles are at the heart of Ford Pro’s integrated offering, enabling customers to maximize fleet productivity and uptime using a full range of integrated solutions. Ford Pro Vehicles offers a global line-up of commercial vehicles, developed using all of Ford’s know-how on the needs of business customers: driving Ford Pro Vehicles is the iconic Transit family.
Ford Pro also aims to facilitate customer transition to electric fleets with its range of functional, zero-emission commercial vehicles designed to increase productivity and sustainability without compromising payload capacity or increasing running costs. Following the successful introduction of E-Transit, with 5,000 orders received before the vehicles even rolled off the production line, the Blue Oval recently announced that the Transit range will include four new 100% electric models: the Transit Custom and the Tourneo Custom in 2023, while in 2024 it will be the turn of the new generation Transit Courier and the Tourneo Courier.
Prepared vehicles
The engineering experience of the Special Vehicles team provides a range of chassis suitable for use as a basis for various types of equipment, as well as batteries and auxiliary power systems, as well as specific packages reserved for particular uses, such as lighting systems or electrical systems for towing, both for thermal combustion vehicles and for electric ones.
In addition, requests for outfitted vehicles are handled by a network of 200 outfitter under the Qualified Vehicle Modifier (Qvm) program. These partners offer experience and customized solutions across a broad spectrum of outfitting, from the simplest for interior van racking to an entire fleet of refrigerated goods delivery vehicles.
A great ecosystem
Ford Pro Software provides a digital and connected ecosystem that uses real-time data to integrate vehicles, telematics, charging and assistance systems into intuitive, easy-to-use and productivity-boosting platforms.
