The Federations Faib Confesercenti, Fegica Cisl and Anisa Confcommercio – which represent the managers of fuel refueling services on the motorway – announce the state of agitation in the category and are ready for a general strike on February 28th in relation to the update of the restructuring of the network of service areas on motorways.
This was written in a letter to the Ministers of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini, of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti and Roberto Cingolani to the Ecological Transition, asking for “a substantial reform of the sector through the instrument of the Interministerial Decree”. In expressing “concern for the developments that have taken and even more likely to take the events connected to the concessions of services in the motorway areas”, the three federations call for “an intervention capable of restoring a certain regulatory framework, capable at least of containing the most unbridled, arbitrary and discriminatory twenty-year private exploitation involving a publicly owned asset which, “placed at (significant) income by the concessionaires” without any control, leaves the State with the many responsibilities and considerable costs necessary to remedy the damage caused “.
