The insolvent baking chain Lila Bäcker will close all remaining branches on February 1, 2024. This affects 900 employees in four federal states, as the company headquartered in Neubrandenburg and the insolvency administrator announced. The radio station Ostseewelle had previously reported.
In October, the baking chain with branches in Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg and Schleswig-Holstein filed for insolvency proceedings under self-administration. In December, the last investor pulled out to take over the entire company, it was said at the beginning of the year.
