Maurizio Molinari attacks the government to hide the collapse of Repubblica
Who thought that the Republic would change in the transition from the De Benedetti era to the Agnelli era was sensationally denied because, especially in Italy, the big publisher is not pure and makes politics and above all money, even those who slyly pretend otherwise.

Repubblica is the uncontaminated kingdom of Capalbian radical – chicism, a social category of Being now cleared also on a scientific level. The typical radical-chic is generally sedentary and can be admired in the millionaire penthouses of the historic centers of large cities, surrounded by rainbow pacifist flags and books by Sarte and Marcuse on the bedside table. He spends his days pontificating in favor of the “poor and the least of the world“, at the same time gorging himself on fine salmon caviar canapés and drinking champagne. His favorite pastime is spending hours adoring the ZTL permit framed in the living room.
The “Republic method” hits Minister Lollobrigida
Minister Lollobrigida – who dared to reiterate the concept which is now universal dominion– was instead promptly lambasted by the director of Repubblica Molinari who complained from the friendly frigate La7: “I had to read several times (as I get older, editor’s note) the words of Minister Lollobrigida published on a social network, because I didn’t think that a Minister of the Republic could offend the entire category of journalists by saying that they “toast with champagne” and “don’t put their hands in manure”
And then again: “The fact that summarizing (sic, ed.) with editorial offices where we toast with champagne it is an offense for those who do this job, including the Prime Minister who is a professional journalist. This way of inciting public contempt towards journalists who exercise the right to freedom of information is reminiscent of autocracies, systems of government in which those in power delegitimize anyone with different opinions. Even going so far as to say that we toast with champagne: these are very serious things and I think it would be right to apologize on behalf of Lollobrigida to all journalists for this very serious statement.”
In short, Molinari’s small-scale cabotage strategy it is clear, very clear indeed. Pressed by the factual truth, namely the champagne, symbol of the wealth of his newspaper’s financiers, he has no choice but to bring in Meloni and perhaps even Salvini who are professional journalists. And then, in this case, only the journalists who practice the art of tartinage will have been “offended” and certainly not everyone as he wants us to believe.
Perhaps Molinari does all this to hide the disastrous management of Repubblica which lost almost 30,000 copies:
But Repubblica is not just a biased newspaper, it is also a way of existing, a vision of the world, a representation of reality which is what Lollobrigida described well, Repubblica is a state of consciousness. It is the representation of the hypocrisy of Power and Wealth and it is also the explanation of why the left has lost all the suburbs of the big cities that have passed to the right, except, in fact, the rich historical centers. Let Molinari ask and give an answer.
Repubblica complains and compares itself to the “Gazete” of the East
Molinari, in his televised – and then written – lament turns the tables. It’s not Meloni who is persecuting her gazeta of via Cristoforo Colombo but exactly the opposite. It is precisely the “Republic method” that strikes down daily against those who don’t think like them and against the free press. We talked about it here.
