Milan Design Week 2022, Audi presents the collaboration with Poliform

On the occasion of the 2022 edition of Milan Design Week, Audi presented the collaboration with Poliform. Founded in Italy, the company has set new standards in terms of style and quality, becoming one of the most influential design companies in the world. “Audi x Poliform – Vision of a mobile private sphere” is the virtual interior development project of the Audi urbansphere concept, a prototype that guarantees an unprecedented habitability in the history of the four rings and interprets the mobility of the future in the luxury segment, inspired by needs of Chinese megacities, where personal space is a limited resource. Precisely on the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Audi and Poliform collaborate in the spaces of Audi House of Progress, where the furniture company welcomes guests in a modern lounge with an aesthetic with a high personality.

Audi house of Progress

Audi House of Progress, the Audi home at Design Week, was built within the complex of buildings that takes the name of “The Medelan”, the historic building in Piazza Cordusio in Milan renovated following high sustainability standards to become a futuristic center dedicated to business, shopping and catering. Sustainability is one of the most stringent objectives that the world is called to achieve: a responsibility that the brand with the four rings has taken on for some time. As pointed out by Marc Lichte, Head of Design Audi: “I can’t imagine a more suitable place than Milan Design Week to analyze the different ways in which design can impact every aspect of our lives. Only here does modern style meet traditional craftsmanship, Italian elegance and international influences “.

Audi A6 Avant e-tron and Audi grandsphere

Design Week 2022 is also the stage for the national debut of the new Audi A6 Avant e-tron and Audi Grandsphere concepts. Built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) modular platform, the starting point of the Volkswagen Group’s high-end electric models, the A6 Avant e-tron aims to offer 700 kilometers of range and above all really fast charging times: using a recharging at 270 kW will only take 10 minutes to obtain 300 km of autonomy. Station wagon version of the concept presented in April 2021 at the Shanghai Auto Show, the A6 Avant e-tron confirms how the stylistic course of the brand will be and presents a series of innovations starting from the optical groups with Matrix Led and Oled technologies capable of to share information with other road users. For example, if the electric show car is parked in front of a wall while charging, the driver and passengers can spend time projecting a dedicated video game onto it using their smartphones as joysticks. Same platform for the Grandsphere, a futuristic concept that anticipates electric and semi-autonomous mobility thanks to the arrival of the fourth level of autonomous driving.
