Now Köhler can prove that he can do better: On May 1st, the founder and original owner will take over the operation of fahrrad.de again. In a recently sent customer letter, fahrrad.de informed that the new company “fahrrad.de Bikester GmbH” would also take over the associated stationary stores in Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Hamburg. The managing directors of this company are Jörg Schaible, Tamer Celen and Alexander Fiess. All three are also executives in the Stuttgart-based Koehler Group, a company that Köhler built with his internet store sales revenues and which operates as a family office and investment company.
