Renault Group: Spain at the center of electrification

The new “electrified” era of the Renault group sees Spain as a strategic point. Precisely for this reason it has placed Spain at the center of the roadmap, where, thanks also toagreement concluded with trade unions on the collective bargaining agreement it was possible to assign the new industrial plan.

The new challenges put in place by De Meo

In the industrial plan, by 2025, they are foreseen 14 new models in its range, of which seven will be 100% electric and seven will be positioned in segments C and D. And, as regards the Spanish contribution, the Group’s CEO, Luca de Meo, has announced that three new vehicles of segments C and D suv, which will arrive in 2022, 2023 and 2024, will be assigned to the Palencia plant. He also announced the assignment, in addition to Captur, of two new vehicles in the B and B-suv segments, which will begin to be produced in 2024, at the bodywork and assembly plant in Valladolid. In addition, one was awarded new family of engines at the Motores plant in Valladolid for 2023 and two new transmissions at the Seville plant for 2022 and 2024.

Only electrified products and innovation boosts from Valladolid
