On 28 December 2018 Marco Carrai sent his friend Renzi an email with an attachment: “Cye intro light.pdf”. This is – reports Il Fatto – a presentation of the services offered from Cyesec. The document, notes the GDF, “was sent to Senator Matteo Renzi, who was going to visit Qatar on 29.12.2018; a circumstance which can be deduced from the content of the email, with the subject: “Tomorrow”, sent by Renzi to Carrai and having as its incipit: “Qatar trip 29 December“.
