Scudo and Ulysse: new models also electric

by admin

The new Fiat Ulysse and Scudo will be born in France, offered in both thermal and 100% electric versions. Built at the Hordain plant, the new family of vehicles therefore marks the return of Fiat Professional and Fiat to the historic French factory where, between 1994 and 2016, some of their most famous models were produced, from which they bear the name Shield and Ulysse.

Both produced on the EMP2 platform of PSA origin, the same that supports cars such as the 3008, the two models are very close “cousins” of the Peugeot Expert and Traveler, Citroen Jumpy and Spacetourer, Opel / Vauxhall Vivaro and Zafira Life vehicles.

In detail, the Scudo will be available in the Van, Combi and Cabinato configurations, while the Fiat Ulysse will come in versions that offer six to nine seats.

By 2030, Stellantis’ low-emission vehicles will account for over 70% of sales in Europe and more than 40% of those in the United States, with an investment of over € 30 billion by 2025.

The Scudo will be ordered according to the countries between the end of this year and the beginning of next year, while the Fiat Ulysse from the first quarter of 2022.
