Sea Cloud Cruises Announces San Juan as Home Port for Sea Cloud Spirit in 2025

Highlighting the attractions of Old San Juan, Sea Cloud Cruises has announced that the Sea Cloud Spirit will have San Juan as its home port in 2025. This move has been described as the perfect setting to begin or end a cruise trip through the Caribbean.

Mirell Reyes, the president of Sea Cloud Cruises, expressed her excitement about the decision, stating, “The cobblestone and narrow streets of Old San Juan, the live music and the aromas of mofongo, are perfect to start or end a trip through the Caribbean.”

The Spirit will offer four new itineraries featuring Puerto Rico in January of 2025, with a special highlight on passing through the Castle from El Morro, described as a majestic moment for both passengers and onlookers.

To enhance the experience for travelers, each new itinerary will include overnight stays in various ports such as St. Barts, Virgin Gorda, and Norman Island, allowing passengers to enjoy the culinary scene and nightlife of these elegant Caribbean islands.

The Sea Cloud Spirit, the newest and largest ship in the company’s fleet, offers unique experiences for passengers, including BBQs on the beach and singing songs with the crew. With personalized attention and a capacity for 136 passengers and 85 crew members, the sailboat provides a five-star experience on a huge sailing yacht with luxurious cabins and suites.

Moreover, Sea Cloud Cruises will reveal scheduling details for the 2025 trips in the coming weeks. The company has also announced three roundtrips from San Juan as well as a voyage from Philipsburg, St. Maarten, offering various options for travelers.

The Sea Cloud Spirit maintains the traditional essence of the company while offering new amenities for passengers, including cabins with private balconies, a spa and wellness area, a gym with sea views, and additional dining options on the Lido Deck.

Notably, rates for these voyages include an open bar, all meals with a selection of exclusive wines and beers, water sports, gratuities, and a welcome bottle of champagne. Trips departing from San Juan have current fares of $5,130 if booked through February 28.

With this announcement, San Juan continues to solidify its position as a desirable home port for cruise ships, offering both locals and tourists the opportunity to embark on unique travel experiences through Sea Cloud Cruises.
