The total scale of broad-based ETFs in China has surpassed the trillion mark for the first time, according to data from Wind. As of February 6, the total scale of 209 broad-based ETFs reached 1.03 trillion yuan, marking an increase of 182.747 billion yuan during the year, reflecting a growth of more than 20%. Out of the 209 broad-based ETFs, 55 achieved positive growth in scale during the year.

Leading the increase in scale are the CSI 300 ETFs under E Fund and Harvest Fund, with both experiencing significant growth. The CSI 300 ETF under E Fund saw an increase of 46.156 billion yuan, bringing its total scale to 94.944 billion yuan, while the Harvest Fund’s CSI 300 ETF grew by 41.34 billion yuan, reaching a total scale of 82.682 billion yuan. Additionally, the scale of the CSI 300 ETFs under China Asset Management and Huatai-PineBridge Fund increased by more than 30 billion yuan each during the year, and the scale of the ChinaAMC SSE 50 ETF grew by more than 20 billion yuan.

Even the China Southern CSI 500 ETF and E Fund GEM ETF experienced substantial growth, with both increasing by more than 10 billion yuan during the year.

This surge in scale demonstrates the increasing popularity and investment in broad-based ETFs, highlighting a growing trend in the Chinese market.
