In the United States, the average hourly wage showed a monthly increase of 0.7% in April against -0.1% in the past survey. On an annual basis, the figure showed an increase of 0.3%, slowing down from the + 4.2% of the previous survey but above the -0.4% of the Bloomberg consensus.
