The Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that fully vaccinated people resume wearing masks indoors in places with high rates of Covid transmission. The updated guidance comes at a time when infections are on the rise (exceeding 100 thousand a day for the first time since February) and in view of the autumn when it is expected that the delta variant will cause another wave of new cases and many companies plan to bring workers back to the office. Also recommend masks for children going to school.
The United States thus takes a step back in its fight against Covid-19. In addition, President Joe Biden said he is considering a vaccination order for all federal employees.
