Star Theater Village premiered a new children’s play to kick off the new year, and it has been nothing short of a dreamy fairy tale wonderland. “The Little Magician” captivated audiences on March 2, 2024, with its innovative concept of combining pop-up books with theater for the first time.
The stage was transformed into a huge pop-up picture book, with actors’ performances and scenery resembling three-dimensional characters and patterns from the pages of a book. The combination of image elements and lighting created a visually stunning experience for children in the audience.
The play follows the brave adventures of Duoduo as he ventures into the dream kingdom, encountering magical worlds such as the magic school, the Kingdom of Hats, the Kingdom of Robots, and the Kingdom of Clouds. The whimsical effects, including flying tables, instant lollipop bubbles, and blooming plants, left a lasting impression on the young viewers.
In addition to the enchanting performance, Star Theater Village also set up a magic town amusement park session for children to enjoy before the show. From creative painting to magic learning, every game area provided a fun and interactive experience for the audience.
“Little Magician” will continue to be performed at Star Theater Village from March 2 to 10, with children receiving an exquisite “Little Magician” stage model after the show. This magical play is sure to delight audiences of all ages and bring a touch of fantasy to the new year.
