Aaron Kwok’s Emotional Revelation at “My Love from the Dog” Premiere

Aaron Kwok, the beloved “King of Hong Kong,” recently attended the premiere of the family-themed fantasy comedy movie “My Love from the Dog” in Beijing, where he shared touching moments from filming and revealed his emotional side to the public.

The movie, which tells the story of a sugar factory worker who turns into a puppy in a quest to find his daughter, may not have fared well at the box office, but Kwok’s personal connection to the film made it special. During his speech, he opened up about his late mother, whom he deeply regrets not seeing before her passing in 2020.

A well-known filial son in the entertainment industry, Kwok is dedicated to his family. He pays filial piety fees to his parents monthly and even gave them a building to enjoy their blessings. Reports indicate that he makes a special “three-part agreement” with his company every Chinese New Year to spend time with his parents.

Married to mainland model Fang Yuan since 2017, Kwok is now a father of two daughters, ages 7 and 5. As a father, he revealed that he is a true “daughter slave,” always making time to video chat with his girls no matter how busy he may be. He expressed his hope to see them grow up healthy and happy and jokingly added that he would not hesitate to deal with any potential suitors who do not meet his standards.

This vulnerable side of Aaron Kwok has endeared him even more to his fans, showcasing the tender heart that lies beneath his “King of Hong Kong” persona.
