ROME – Jeep, the iconic brand in the orbit of the Stellantis group, which has always been synonymous with off-road, could not miss at an event like that of the “International off-road fair”. At the first edition of the kermesse, scheduled from 15 to 17 October next, the public will be an active part because, in addition to the show, they will have the opportunity to touch and try the whole new 4xe range along ad hoc off-road routes. Available for test drives will be Renegade and Compass, the made in Italy SUVs that first initiated the brand’s ecological transition, flanked by the unstoppable Wrangler, the most powerful Jeep model (380 Hp and 637 Nm of torque) , sustainable, silent and technically advanced never introduced on the European market. Another inevitable presence is that of the spectacular Truck Jeep, an articulated lorry whose black livery stands out with the 4xe logo. In 40 minutes, through a fully automated process, it transforms into an exhibition space of 1,200 m2 with two LED walls, a WallBox to recharge the 4xe SUVs and above all a 9-meter-high deck equipped with a tilting mechanism with a 45 ° slope.
This latest transformation, thanks to the presence of the Jeep instructors, will allow visitors to experience the emotions of off-road driving and tests such as the twist, thus appreciating the historic off-road capability that has characterized the brand for 80 years and is evolving today into a ever greener approach thanks to 4xe plug-in hybrid technology. Among other things, the Jeep Truck is also environmentally friendly in its energy approach since it is equipped with flexible solar panels in the central part of the structure. In short, the first edition of the event organized by the Italian off-road Federation that will take place in Versilia, between the locations of Viareggio and Massarrosa, will represent an opportunity that will allow you to get to know more in depth the range of SUVs capable of “going anywhere and do anything ”, under the banner of the famous Jeep claim“ Go Anywhere, Do Anything ”.
