The annual meeting of the Capital Radio and Television Program Production Industry Association took place in Beijing on March 26, with a focus on celebrating the best TV dramas that premiered from March 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024. The event highlighted major themes, craftsmanship, high-quality development, and outstanding works of the times.

Liu Yanming, president of the association, emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in the industry, especially as China’s television industry moves towards recovery after a challenging winter. The recommendation event aimed to boost morale and promote high-quality development in the industry.

The lively annual meeting was attended by industry leaders and experts, including Li Jingsheng from the China Broadcasting Federation and Zhao Yifang, founder of Huace Group. One notable category was the “Special Contribution TV Series of the Year,” which honored works highlighting major themes such as the 10th anniversary of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. The event also recognized the rise of high-quality micro-short dramas in the industry.

Guest representatives shared valuable experiences and insights, driving creative enthusiasm and innovation in the industry. The event showcased the industry’s commitment to producing high-quality content and contributing to its development.
