ASKING ALEXANDRIA – EP for Blue Monday – the saddest day of the year

ASKING ALEXANDRIA release new EP “Dark Void” with new versions of their single of the same name from their current album “Where Do We Go From Here”.

The EP is released as a harbinger of “Blue Monday” (January 15th) – the most depressing day of the year – the song “Dark Void” refers to the topic of mental health and its support.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA start the new year with a new EP, featuring the debut single „Dark Void“, from their 2023 album Where Do We Go From Here?, is included in new versions. The “Dark Void” EP is out today via Better Noise Music and contains five tracks, including the original version of „Dark Void“ as well as a new radio version, a piano version and a version remixed by Sullivan King. Aimed at anyone struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and loneliness, the emotional and empowering single celebrates the strength it takes to face one’s inner demons and combat negative thoughts.

Sam Bettley says:
“Blue Monday is coming up this Monday, January 15. Unfortunately, it’s that time of the year again where a lot of us, including myself, are facing depression, anxiety, and loneliness. I can’t stress enough how much music has helped me through these dark times. Our song ‘Dark Void’ gives an insight into how crippling these feelings can be. So put it on, turn it up, and let it be a reminder that you aren’t alone and together we can make it through!”

The DARK VOID EP also contains the fan-favorite, electronic-tinged album track„Nothing Left“which ASKING ALEXANDRIA have provided with a new lyric video to coincide with the release of the EP.
