Hot Wheels x Daniel Arsham Collaboration: From ‘Lap One’ to ‘Lap Four’

Hot Wheels and Artist Daniel Arsham Collaborate on Fourth and Final Series “Lap Four”

Hot Wheels, the iconic toy car brand, has partnered with renowned artist Daniel Arsham for a unique collaboration. The collaboration has already seen the release of the first three series – “Lap One”, “Lap Two”, and “Lap Three – and is now gearing up for the release of the fourth and final series, “Lap Four”.

One of the standout items in the collaboration is the 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo “Safari” toy car, which is inspired by Arsham’s private collection of cars. The toy car has been transformed into a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels model, featuring a gray surface and crystal structure. Another highlight is the 1968 Ford Mustang in matte black with an etched finish, inspired by the iconic movie “Bullitt” starring Steve McQueen. The collection also includes stickers, key chains, and prints inspired by vintage illustrations by Otto Kuhni, a renowned graphic designer who has worked with Mattel for decades.

The complete collaboration will be available for a one-day limited edition at KITH Tokyo on May 11, with the “Lap Four” series launching on the Mattel official website on May 16. The global release of “Lap Four” will be available in various regions, so fans of Hot Wheels and Daniel Arsham should keep an eye out for this exciting collection.
