After 11 titles in a row for Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen ended the streak and is the new Bundesliga champion. In an exceptional season, five dates were dedicated before the end.

This is the Leverkusen’s first Bundesliga title who had not won a championship since 1993 German Cup. They also won a UEFA Cup in 1988 and a second division league in 1979.
Not only did he win the German tournament from start to finish, but he also has the chance to achieve the triple corona. He is a finalist for the German Cup where they will play against Kaiserslautern next month and are in the quarterfinals of the Europa League (they beat West Ham 2-0 in the first leg). This undefeated in the season and they haven’t lost in 43 games.
