The well-known furniture brand Cassina recently released a home decoration series in collaboration with the late designer Virgil Abloh, officially debuting the “Modular Imagination” modular furniture designed by him.
The furniture is presented in two sizes of squares. Virgil Abloh specially added the ingenuity of the tenon, so that it can be placed alone or arranged to achieve different functions such as small side tables and benches; in addition, to commemorate the cooperation, also in “Cassina-Abloh” embossed circular logo on all sides.
Instead of a limited-edition format, Cassina chose to include these works in the catalogue, expressing that while respecting her work, it is important to emphasize the value of the project, not just limited editions.
Cassina will showcase the “Modular Imagination” collection in its flagship store in Milan and open to the public during Milan Design Week; in addition, it will be officially launched in Cassina stores, online stores and selected related concept stores later this year, including Interested readers must pay more attention.
