Cossato, a control room for the relaunch of the shops

by admin

Tomorrow the Urban Commerce District will take off in Cossato. Presenting its nature and objectives at Villa Ranzoni will be the control room made up of the Municipality, the trade associations Confesercenti and Ascom and the district manager Paola Fini. “The Duc is an evolution of the natural shopping center, or rather the set of shops that have sprung up in the city over the years and that will no longer be disconnected, but will be organized and supervised by the control room and the district manager: it will take care of the programming initiatives, with the aim of promoting urban regeneration that also involves third sector associations and project partners – says the councilor for Commerce, Sonia Borin -. The Cossatoshop association is certainly a partner of the initiative, but we have also contacted SonĆ²ria, the association Intorno al castello, Fidas, the Alpine troops and the Pro loco so that everyone can participate Ā».

First of all, the participation of traders is necessary, without which the Duc would not make much sense. Ā«Promoting trade alone, however, is not enough – says Borin -. The project must be integrated with territorial marketing initiatives and with events that also include culture, tourism and the third sector Ā». By 7 February, the partners must sign the memorandum of understanding to join the project and the program of initiatives must be presented to the Region, which financed the birth of the Duc with a contribution of 20 thousand euros (as part of the establishment of the districts trade of Piedmont, one also in Biella) to which the Municipality of Cossato has added another 5 thousand.

The Duc will provide traders with various tools useful for their business, including training courses. The first two will be on January 26 and February 2 (with the possibility of following them face-to-face or online). The first will discuss topics such as visual marketing, store strategy, customer focus and shop windows as a communication tool. The second course will deal with management and interior spaces, focal points and hot or cold areas of the store. Tomorrow the appointment is at 6.30 pm at Villa Ranzoni, but as the places are limited to thirty, it is also possible to follow the presentation online (for information and to confirm attendance, call 015/989345). All merchants in the district will be given 8 free “pills” containing information on how to promote themselves on social networks, such as how to build a campaign on Facebook, create a profile on Instagram or a YouTube channel.
