ROME – Half of the charging stations for electric cars in the eu are concentrated in only two countries: the Netherlands (90,284 stations) and Germany (59,410). This is indicated by the ACEA which represents the European car manufacturers. These two countries represent less than 10% of the EU surface. In third position is France with 37,128 stations followed by Sweden (25,197), Italy (23,543).
The countries with the fewest charging stations are Cyprus (57), Malta (98), Lithuania (207), Estonia (385) and Latvia (420).
