Hollywood movies have been banned in certain countries because they contain homosexual elements. This happened in the live-action film “Beauty and the Beast”. Now “Eternal Race” is also in trouble. There is a homosexual plot in the film, as well as a different description of the prophet. The Disney Company refused to cut, so Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and other countries cancelled the film’s release schedule.
According to foreign media Variety, “The Eternal Race” was originally scheduled to be released in these countries on November 11. The local censorship requested the deletion of some clips, but Disney disagreed. A character in “Eternal Race” has scenes of kissing a same-sex partner, and homosexuality is illegal in many countries in the Gulf. More importantly, the film has different depictions of the prophets and gods on the earth, and these descriptions are considered blasphemy in these countries.
A local theater chain in Saudi Arabia confirmed that “Eternal Race” had indeed been banned, but they were not informed of the specific reasons for the ban. The UAE, Lebanon, Egypt and other congresses released “Eternal Race”, but some intimate scenes will be deleted.
“Eternal Race” is set after “Reunion 4”, focusing on a “new” superhero team in MCU: Eternal Race. They are mysterious and powerful ancient races. They came to the earth seven thousand years ago to protect human beings from alien races. But when faced with the question of “why didn’t help mankind resist the hegemony or participate in any war”, the eternal tribe said that because they have received an instruction, they must not interfere in any human conflict unless the alien race appears.
“Eternal Race” was released in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places on November 3, and the film will be officially released in North American theaters today (November 5).
