Cuban activist Lazara Aylin Diaz Febles has initiated a fundraiser for fellow activist Diasniurka Salcedo Verdecia, who is currently in Mexico awaiting a humanitarian visa to enter the United States with her family.

According to Diaz Febles, Salcedo Verdecia and her family are facing a difficult situation while in Mexico, with the activist and her young daughter in poor health. Despite her history of always helping others, Salcedo Verdecia is now in need of support.

“Our dear friend and sister Diasniurka Salcedo is currently in Mexico in a delicate situation, along with her husband and two small children, in the process of processing a humanitarian visa for the United States,” Diaz Febles explained on the GoFundMe page they created. “Every contribution counts. Thank you and blessings,” she added.

Journalist Mónica Baró shared that Salcedo Verdecia was hesitant to seek help due to her selfless nature. “Our dear Diasniurka Salcedo, activist and political speaker, needs our help. She has agreed to let people close to her who love and admire her promote this fundraising,” Baró said.

Salcedo Verdecia has dedicated her life to helping others, particularly Cuban children in need. She has put her life and freedom at risk to defend those who are sick or abused. Now, she is in a position where she requires assistance from the community she has dedicated herself to serving.

To support Diasniurka Salcedo Verdecia and her family, visit their GoFundMe page and make a contribution to help them during this challenging time.
