The Villanovian Christmas comes to life today, Sunday 19 December, with the direction of the United Merchants association, with the Pro loco municipality. Write down Antonio Antonucci, president of traders: «Since 2017, the Villanovan Christmas has given light to the town in all its nuances, from social events to events. A way to help make Villanova alive by collaborating all together ».
It will start with the Christmas market from 9.30 to sunset. There are numerous stalls with gift ideas, open shops and a refreshment point with polenta, organized by the Pro loco. At 2 pm Santa Claus parade with sweet surprises for the children.
At 4 pm in the municipal library of the Batù brotherhood, the book is presented “Iron Mark. The lanes of Marco Dolfin: surgeon and swimmer “ (Bradipolibri). The author is Alberto Dolfin, journalist of «La Stampa» and brother of Marco. With them will be the president of the library, Daniela Giudici, with Francesca Arlotta, councilor for culture. The novel tells of a double role for a doctor who has found the positive perspective to be reborn from a tragic moment in his existence. With determination, Alberto tells, between sport, work and life, the fourth place in the 100 meters breaststroke at the Rio 2016 Paralympics for the athlete of the Blm Braintea84 Cantù and of the Italian Paralympic Swimming National Team.
At 6 pm Christmas concert of the Villanovan Philharmonic to the church of San Martino. They participate in the company MiTiChieleCullì their hearts La Bissoca e Full of Life.
