With Robert Pattinson’s new version of “The Batman” starring DC’s new version of “The Batman” close to a month, another independent film “Joker” starring Joaquin Phoenix is rumored to officially start shooting in 2023.
According to the latest exclusive report from Heroic Hollywood, Warner Bros. has received a first draft of the script and is expected to start shooting sometime in 2023. The Todd Phillips-directed “Joker” was controversial and considered a dangerous film, but it eventually swept $1 billion worldwide and won two Oscars, although many thought it didn’t. There is a demand for a sequel, but if a sequel is launched, I believe there will still be a large number of audiences to support it.
In May last year, it was reported that Todd Phillips had signed a sequel contract with Warner Bros. Although the official did not confirm it, the director has kept an open attitude to the sequel in the past, but only if the subject matter is interesting and resonant.
