Lemaire, led by the duo of Christophe Lemaire and Sarah Linh Tran, re-embodies Parisian elegance with its latest Fall/Winter 2022 collection, featuring versatile and loose tailoring this season, while continuing the brand’s minimalist aesthetic and dynamic-based ethos. The emphasis is on the highly casual nature of the coat.
Oversized trench coats, blazers and leather flight coats are the brand’s new staples, asphalt lacquer coats with white large lapels and inners, Tobacco Trench and a variety of shirt coats are suitable not only for formal occasions but also for casual wear. The loose fit is complemented by a structured square silhouette, and dynamic fluidity adds visual ease to long coats and slacks. The red marble-printed shirt, a collaboration between Lemaire and Frédérique Pelletier, adds an extra touch of luxury to the earth-toned collection.
In addition, the Impressionist outdoor landscape of this show was created by stage director and theater director Philippe Quesne.
