AMAV expressed their sadness, saying, “From AMAV we mourn the death of the Mexican dubbing actress Erika Robledo, known for her versatility in being able to perform voices of boys and girls, young women, adults and elderly women.”
According to reports, Robledo died in Los Angeles, California on January 22, although her relatives confirmed the news on Saturday the 27th. Her passing was also reported on social media platforms, such as Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
Robledo was known for her extensive work in cartoons, series, and movies. Some of the characters she voiced include Ariel in “The New Adventures of The Little Mermaid,” Princess Emerald in “The Magical Warriors,” and Claudia Guzmán (Ran Mouri) in “Detective Conan.”
Additionally, Robledo made an impact in English dubbing, notably portraying Mexican actress Verónica Castro in the Netflix original series ‘La casa de las flores.’ She also lent her voice to international productions such as “Twilight,” “Ni idea,” and “Especies.”
