New York’s Altagamma Club debuts with a design event

After the Netherlands and China, the networking project by Altagamma expands in the United States with the launch of the Altagamma Club New York, with one goal: to promote the creativity, excellence, quality and lifestyle of Italy in the United States, the reference market for high-end products Italian.

Let’s start with the design

Perhaps looking to Italy and in particular to Milan, where the Salone del mobile begins today, for the first meeting of the Club, Altagamma presented Next Design Perspectives, the foundation’s conference dedicated to future trends in creativity and design – in partnership with the Ministry of Affairs and with Ice-Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies. The meeting took place last Wednesday at the Lamborghini Lounge NYC, the exclusive invitation-only space in Lamborghini’s Chelsea art district (Altagamma partner), which showcases Italian automotive excellence.

A network of meeting and promotion places

The Altagamma Club network is part of the framework agreement between the foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the Italian high-end in the world. Within the Altagamma Club New York the country managers of the member companies «will find a place of confrontation to create joint initiatives and storytelling activities ”, as Matteo Lunelli, president of Altagamma explained, introducing the event.

The centrality of the American market

The “team” of the New York club

The coordinator of the Altagamma Club New York is Luca Lo Curzio, CEO of North America Ermenegildo Zegna Groupwho will work closely with Lelio Gavazza, executive vice president of sales and retail at Bulgari and coordinator of the various Altagamma Clubs, and with the Italian diplomatic-consular network in the United States. The New York stage, dedicated to the American business community and media, is part of the calendar of the third edition of Next Design Perspectives which – after the launch in Milan in October 2021 and the edition in Shanghai in November 2021 – will culminate on 27 October 2022 in the plenary conference at the Milan Triennale.
