RBD Fans Disappointed as Reunion Tour Comes to an Abrupt End

December 21, 2023 marked the conclusion of RBD’s successful “Soy Rebelde Tour,” which passed through the United States, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, with more than 50 concerts in prominent venues. Months after the concert series concluded, RBD’s fervent fans are longing for more dates to enjoy the group and their songs live.

Although at the beginning of the tour, the five members of the band indicated that there would only be performances in 2023, Christopher Uckermann dispelled the uncertainty about whether RBD will return to the stage to continue their reunion. The singer assured that, for the moment, there would be no intentions of resuming a tour like last year’s.

It was Martha Figueroa who revealed the reasons why ‘the rebels’ canceled what would be their tour in the future. Through the program With Permission, the journalist commented that the tour ended because there are enmities. According to Figueroa, RBD will not give more dates because “no one talks to anyone” and it is only Christian Chávez who talks to several of his colleagues.

“They ended up fed up, angry, falling fat and then they’re not going to do anything… If anyone wants them to make dates, it should be someone who says: ‘Let’s see, that partnership they had with their husbands has already broken down.’ And someone as a neutral to put them all in order,” Martha Figueroa said.

Martha highlighted that these feuds and controversies will lead to regrets later, since they could run out of money and “they will cry” for not holding new dates for their fans. However, she said that it will be their decision. At the moment, none of the members of the group have commented on the alleged quarrels to which Martha Figueroa refers.
