RBD’s Christian Chávez Accuses Former Manager of YouTube Channel Disappearance

(Telemundo Atlanta) – Christian Chávez, member of the iconic band RBD, has raised a serious accusation against his former manager, Guillermo Rosas.

In a publication that has left fans and followers dismayed, Chávez claims that Rosas has been responsible for the disappearance of his YouTube channel, a vital space for the singer where he shared musical and personal content with millions of followers.

The controversy arises in the midst of a larger scandal that has enveloped Rosas, who was already under the spotlight for alleged financial embezzlement during RBD’s reunion tour, one of the most successful tours of 2023.

The members of RBD, including Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Christopher Uckermann, and Chávez himself, had maintained a discreet stance on the issue, until now.

Christian took to Instagram to express his discontent and concern, stating that his channel had been completely deleted, including the music video for his song “Libertad” that he had paid for with money from his own pocket. This act not only represents a low blow to his career but also to his freedom of artistic expression.

Former manager, Guillermo Rosas, known for his long association with RBD since the days of the telenovela ‘Rebelde’ and his subsequent musical tours, had been reinstated to the project in 2023. However, his departure in December of that year was marked by rumors and accusations of fraud, especially related to the sale of VIP tickets and benefits at exorbitant prices, without fulfilling the promises made to fans.

As Chávez seeks to recover his channel and preserve his musical legacy, RBD fans await more details and a possible response from Rosas.

For her part, Maite Perroni, when asked about the dismissal of Guillermo Rosas, offered a cautious response: “At this moment the truth is that we cannot give that type of statement that makes a statement like that. We are only announcing the administrative closure of the tour, and later we will be able to have more clarity about things. (Guillermo Rosas) is no longer part of the team.”
