ROME – A small device for the safety of cyclists. It is called “Curve Bike light & Gps tracker” and is at the center of a new Vodafone campaign starring Pierluigi Collina. In the funny commercial created to draw attention to the problem of road safety, the greatest football referee in the world plays the role of the first Vodafone Assistant Road Referee (Varr). Four out of ten cyclists believe that rules should be imposed on drivers to ensure the safety of cyclists and to prevent accidents. The most common reason for quarrel with motorists, according to one in four cyclists (39%), is due to the lack of reporting of turns and for a third (34%) and to passing too close when they are overtaken. Complete with an intelligent rear brake light that operates dynamically in relation to speed, the all-in-one solution proposed by Vodafone also offers cyclists GPS tracking, the detection of any impacts or accidents and an alert service that allows you to warn in case of theft of the bike or to send notifications to family and friends in case of emergency.
