The father of the singer, musician, and comedian Silverio Pérez, known as Don Silverio, has passed away at the age of 109. Silverio Pérez Rosado, who was about to turn 110, faced a health crisis in recent days that kept him hospitalized. However, at the time of his passing, he was able to be at home in Guaynabo surrounded by his children and family.

Don Silverio, who was born in 1914 and was the father of 14 children, including the comedian Silverio Pérez, lived a long and fulfilling life in the Mamey neighborhood in Guaynabo.
