This is the extreme alarm cry of the representatives of the entire national automotive sector (Anfia, Aniasa, Assilea, Federauto, Unasca and Unrae) who urgently requested the extension of the deadline for the entry into force of the new regulations of the Document Unique for circulation and ownership of motor vehicles, scheduled for next March 31st.
The system of the Single Circulation Document still does not work properly, as confirmed by the costs caused by the critical issues and inefficiencies that continue to characterize the new system. The associations continue to highlight the slowness and inadequacy of the digital procedure which has tripled the times for issuing documents and therefore the costs for the user, with evident negative repercussions on the entire automotive sector.
A few days after the system is finally fully operational, scheduled for March 31, the goal is first of all to have certainty of adequate times to test and refine the procedures relating to road transport, never before worked in the Single Document and not only. .
The automotive associations, reiterated the need to be directly involved in a technical table to solve the persistent gaps, underline how the account of the inefficiencies of the last year are very high, with times that have increased on average from 40 to 60%. An unacceptable increase generated by the inefficiency of the digital system which, instead of simplifying the life of the motorist and businesses, determines numerous problems with an increase in time and costs. If, in fact, before the introduction of the Single Document, the delivery times of the circulation and ownership documents were acceptable and the system was functional, today practices that once were processed in a few minutes remain “hanging” even for over half an hour .
If a sea change was to be, it takes time to deliver on this promise. The inconveniences that the companies represented are undergoing every day are no longer bearable.
