On the evening of December 18, 2021, Shen Yun North American Performing Arts performed its first performance at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in South Carolina, leading the audience to experience a magical cultural journey.
The Charleston audience was full of praise for the performance that night, saying that the message conveyed by Shen Yun’s performance was “inspiring” and “experienced the hope that God brought.”
Charleston is a coastal city in South Carolina, USA. In the 17th and 18th centuries, it was the fifth largest city in North America after Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Quebec. In the North American colonial era, Boston and Charleston were sister cities. The wealthy and upper class people went to Boston to escape the heat in summer and Charleston to escape the cold in winter. Today, Charleston has become one of the famous tourist attractions in the eastern United States with its long historical sites.
