Starting from the preparations for the landing, it took two months for the film “Yoko’s Confusion” to be successfully completed on January 18 in Yanjin County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province.

The reporter was informed that the film was supervised by the well-known filmmaker Cheng Qingsong, and was directed by the post-90s female director Li Jue for the first time. This is the first feature-length feature film shot in Yanjin, “the narrowest county in China”. The canyon is built on a line, and the one-way shuttle between the two mountains is filming. The shooting is quite difficult and challenging. The main creative team quickly worked together under the tense shooting cycle, worked together, and finally completed all the shooting as scheduled.

The film is played by the famous actress Huang Xiaolei as the heroine Yu Meihui. It is narrated from a female perspective and vividly interpreted: Yoko, the daughter of the heroine of the story, uses a prank to open her mother’s secret box, thereby revealing a series of love, family, Understanding and communicating stories. The film accurately depicts the three-generation family relationship that lacks communication, and focuses on showing delicate, complex and real emotions from three perspectives of marriage, family and family.

Because the filming is still taking place under the background of epidemic control, the entire crew has also fully done personal and surrounding protection work, nucleic acid testing, frequent mask replacement, disinfection and sterilization, etc. With the active cooperation and support of the local government and the masses, the shooting task was successfully completed. The film is scheduled to be finalized in mid-May this year and is expected to be released in theaters nationwide within the year.
