The Government was evidently hit after the setback that the return to commission of the Omnibus Law and from the official account of the The President’s Office released a list of deputies who voted for and “against the people” which quickly generated controversy.
The message on social network X (formerly Twitter) consists of two initial paragraphs thanking some for their support and criticizing those who did not. “The Office of the President appreciates the legislative commitment of the bloc Front PROheaded by Cristian Ritondofrom the deputy Miguel Ángel Pichettoand of sector of the UCR who accompanied the project, as well as all the deputies who this Tuesday voted in particular in favor of the Law of Bases and Starting Points for the Freedom of Argentines,” he points out.
“It also highlights the betrayal of their voters by all the blocks that turned their backs on their campaign promises for a different Argentina. The people will never forget the names of those who, being able to facilitate the reforms that were elected by 56% of the Argentines, decided to continue playing into the hands of the caste,” expresses the official message from the Government.

The release of Carolina Píparo
Immediately below those two paragraphs, they put together a list of the deputies who voted for and “against the people.” The inclusion of the former candidate for governor of Buenos Aires for La Libertad Avanza stands out there, Carolina Píparoand her blockmate, Lorena Macyszyn.

The fact is that the bloc of these two legislators called Buenos Aires Libre voted negatively on one section and that was enough to arouse the anger of the ruling party. “The Buenos Aires Libre bloc voted in favor of all emergencies and all delegated powers requested by the executive branch. The only negative vote was for ONE POINTsection H of article 4 (composed of eight sections)”, Píparo explained in his X account.
“Specifically, we voted against a modification proposed by another bloc on trusts. We wish the government temperance to bring peace of mind to the Argentines who have had such a hard time for so long. Thanks to the media for the invitations and the usual interest, but “This time I have nothing more to add,” he said.
The subsection in question enables the Executive Branch to “transform, modify, unify or eliminate trusts or public trust funds created by regulations with legal status, including those intended for subsidies, review their origin and destination to achieve greater rationality, efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and control of the use of public resources”.

Martín Tetaz’s anger
Another of those targeted by the Government and also on social networks was the radical deputy Martín Tetaz who voted negatively for the same section as Píparo and two other sections: E and F of article 5.
“Some resentful idiot came out to try to establish that he had voted all with the left and the K. The useful idiots looking for scapegoats to excuse their own failure. Stop lying to people. All the votes are there; point by point how each deputy voted. I voted 90% of the articles in favor“, Tetaz pointed out and shared his votes.

Then, after observing the tweet from the President’s Office that included him in the list of deputies who voted “against the people,” he launched: “This regrettable and fascist statement only confirms that the government was never interested in the Law coming out. nor does he have any interest in being dealt with in committee. Unfortunately the Argentines lose PS: In my particular case I signed the majority opinion, I voted in favor in general and I voted in favor of 90% of the articles in particular.”
