The closing was signed yesterday, June 16th. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

SMEs of excellence

Manifattura Sesia, founded in 1963 in Fara Novarese, in 2021 recovered its pre-Covid turnover levels, exceeding 18 million euros (+ 40%). The founding families, Baccalaro and Serra, will continue to be members and manage the company; in particular Eugenio Parravicini will keep the role of managing director and Chiara Serra will remain in the creative direction. The objective of the investment holding is to create a reference pole for quality Italian yarns. Manifattura Sesia and Lanificio dell’Olivo produce complementary yarns and, according to the investors, have “common values ​​in terms of sustainability, innovation, quality and service”.

This year the forecast is that the yarn cluster will exceed 40 million in revenues “with significant economic results that in the years to come will benefit from greater economies of scale and scope”, states Ethica Global Investments. autonomy of individual companies, the creation of synergies and further acquisitions to strengthen positioning.
