Through a statement from UPCN they indicated that “Now it turns out that the government spokesperson is coming out to give statements arrogating to statements that have never been made” and they added that “it goes without saying that they accepted without question the offers of the previous administration and also the 8.3% in November when it was well known that inflation would be higher.”
From the union they maintained that “the government, in one of its recognized practices, always cited us before Indec made the values known” and in direct reference to their ATE peers they indicated that “thus they systematically contributed to degenerating the salaries of state workers to impoverish ourselves.
In addition, they recalled that “for the people of UPCN, the defense of workers is our permanent mission, not just for short periods of time; “We always walk on the same path, we don’t go where the sun shines” and they stressed that «We are not like them who walk in zigzags seeking only the heat of the power of the moment; “We do contemplate the humble workers, we do assist our members day by day, month by month with our social work, we do think, analyze and generate proposals so that public work is modernized and we can have better conditions.”
