According to Deadline’s latest report, the classic apocalyptic sci-fi movie “I Am Legend” has made a $600 million box office hit after 2007. Fifteen years later, the official announcement of the sequel will feature the return of the lead actor Will Smith and the “Black Panther” actor Michael B. Jordan.
“I Am Legend” tells the story of a large-scale infection of the earth due to the out-of-control relationship of the “K virus”. The only remaining human beings must fight against the infected mutants. The actor Robert Neville, played by Will Smith, is a scientist of the US Army Chemical Corps. He was accompanied by his dog Samantha. It is understood that the film has two ending versions, namely the difference between Robert Neville’s final life and death, so which ending version will be used in the sequel of the film has not been officially announced.
