Easter day gives Itas Trentino an auspicious and convincing home victory over Monza. This evening at the ILT Daily Arena the Italian Champion team made their debut in the 2024 Credem Banca Scudetto Play Off Semifinal series with a 3-0 success, immediately obtaining the lead point. In front of almost 3,300 spectators, who will be able to fill the stadium in via Fersina again in another two of the four remaining matches of the match, the hosts confirmed their internal law on Mint Vero Volley, rejected for the eighteenth time in as many matches play in Trento.
The loud and warm support of their fans and the excellent technical and physical condition developed in the ten days that have passed since the previous match ensured that Soli’s team showed up ready and excited for the match. The three high-ball attackers then completed a sumptuous performance, also adding great effectiveness at the net (in particular the Calabrian and the Luxembourger, who scored 15 and 17 times respectively) and at the block (4 blocks out of the seventeen personal points for Michieletto, judged at the end mvp). Without Maar (out at the last minute due to a facial contusion suffered the night before), Monza tried to respond until the end especially thanks to Loeppky (20) and the substitute Mujianovic (9), but the effort produced was never enough to reopen the contest and take it to at least the fourth set.
